The more the press hound Farage and his family the more people will support him, do people like that he supports an ex con, yes, do they like his work arounds to make money, yes. Do people want to know more about who is backing him, yes. Are people done with immigration, yes. Are people sick to the back teeth of the main stream political parties, yes. Do they think he’s done anything for Clacton, no. Do some people think that reform is the only way forward, yes but it’s hugely divided.

I support reform but not reform the political party. Do I have any advice or words of wisdom how to get out of this political mess we’re in? Absolutely not. As a Clactonian I’m faced with vote for count bin face or Nigel Farage in this latest political theatre known as a forced by-election.

While people hotly debate the best way forward they don’t trust that the police are giving all the facts about a recent attack on a woman on the beach and are outraged that journalists are stalking Farage’s daughter.

Anyway, if you are a tourist visiting us don’t believe all you hear about what Clacton believes. It’s a beautiful day here and the beach is calling.
